In India atom technologies, one of the leading mobile payments services company was accredited with Visa Payment Application Best Practices (PABP) certification for its new m-payments platform to be introduced in a short time.

The PABP certification confirms that atom complies with all the regulations applied to ascertain the highest level of security standards for storing, processing and transmitting confidential information of m-banking consumers as part of authorization and settlement. At the moment atom is the only end-to-end m-payments provider in India to gain this kind of accreditation.

"atom technologies has demonstrated high level of commitment at all the levels towards attaining the desired level of security standards and applied significant efforts in pro-actively complying with the Visa PABP certification standards. This certification will give users the assurance of atom's commitment of offering solutions that meet currently applicable highest security standards in the domain," notes Erik Winkler, Global Head Professional Services.
