In China a new service offering installment credit was introduced by 99Bill Corporation to allow customers to buy goods by paying in installments. This is the first initiative of such kind in China's electronics payment service market.

The installment credit works as follows. A customer places a purchase order with the partners of 99Bill and applies for the installment credit service by simply specifying the bank and the installment periods as well as his/her name, credit card number and the expiration date. The application will be processed within minutes.

Upon approval of the application consumers may enjoy all the benefits available with the installment plan. No interest is charged. At the moment installment credit service provided by 99Bill accepts credit cards from such banks as the Bank of China and Industrial Bank. More banks are expected to join the program later.
