Bananacoast Community Credit UnionFree security application for internet transactions will be provided to customers of Australian regional credit union, Bananacoast Community Credit Union (BCU).

The security software serves as an additional tool to bank and customer's existing security applications. It prevents criminal attempts to intercept the financial information making online transactions safe and reliable.

Supposing that most customers don’t use software security measures for conducting online transactions by a number of reasons such as lack of time, carelessness and ignorance of how to implement these things, BCU made a decision to provide the free solution which is said to be a third layer of security for internet banking.

During the click-through period to the login page TrustDefender conducts a check on the consumer's PC or mobile device. As AV or firewall software may fail to detect some kind of malware that penetrated the machine TrustDefender ensures additional search and identification of the harmful software before the transaction takes place.

"We feel sure that this will lead to an increase in the use of Internet banking by our customers who will be able to enjoy the convenience of anywhere, anytime management of their finances, with the peace of mind that they are doing the most they can to protect their money and identity," says Ray Battle, CEO of BCU.
