Google Checkout payment system designed on the basis of the largest searching system in the world presented a new service from the YouTube You Choose '08 channel. The company promotes a new product like a cheap way to collect money for donations during federal campaigns that are rather active this year. Company gets just 2%, and plus $0.20 per each transaction.

Nowadays online donations became rather popular in political campaigns. So, it is known that Ron Paul made the largest one-day online contribution in the history of fundraising. Another candidate for presidential elections Barack Obama also didn't want to be behind and left $10 million as a donation in Internet where 90% of all contributions hardly exceed $100.

Integrating its new payment service with YouTube Google Checkout can increase the number of campaigns and relatively to get more popularity. And we can note that Google is not the only company that has decided to this tricky way: last week PayPal announced the launch of "PayPal Kit for Non-Profits" service for collecting donations.
