A new report on the survey of the credit card industry has revealed that the Internet became an invaluable tool for the UK credit card holders. Today a global network is used for various purposes related to credit card industry, such as education and a study of credit cards, comparison of their various kinds, browsing, making applications for them and even managing credit card accounts.

Statistics is a precise discipline, and its figures are rarely mistaken. According to some of them the most part of people prefer using the Internet as a source of information covering all aspects of credit card industry and the market. The report issued by Global Reviews reveals that 64% of consumers use the Internet to apply for a credit card, and 68% of people use the Global Network to manage their credit card accounts.

But it is necessary to say that the officials are very anxious about the quality of websites providing such information, which is very often far from being perfect.  "As household budgets tighten across the UK, many credit card customers will start to notice the rates they have been paying on their credit cards and begin to look around for better deals. With so many customers going online, providers wanting to attract these customers need to make sure that their website offers the information customers are looking for. All the online applications we looked at could be significantly improved. There is a lot more that providers can be doing to make it easier for their customers online," commented one of them.
