The British have been using online banking for 10 years

[img_assist|nid=7590|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=65|height=100]Ten years ago the British have used online banking for the first time. So, Norwich and Peterborough Building Society (N&P) decided to conduct a poll and to reveal the attitude towards online banking facilities.

According to the results 90% of Brits use Internet banking today. 8% of the polled people appeared to be addicted to this facility; and as per N&P they log in the systems several times a day.  

47% of people said that they enter their accounts several times a week, 19% - once a day and 4% said that they use online banking only once a month.

There are some other interesting facts. So, 39% of the polled people have answered that they check their online accounts in the evening, 56% at day time and 15% - at work.  

According to the general remarks 98% of people said that owing to online banking their life became much easier; 25% said that with online access to the account they have an opportunity to do banking at any time of the day.
