IMRG Capgemini e-Retail Sales Index has shown that the UK shoppers more and more become involved in online shopping. According to the survey, the British have spent more than £26.5 billion on e-commerce websites during the first half of the year. That is 38% higher than it was a year ago.

The head of retail consulting of Capgemini UK, Mike Petevinos, thinks that this tendency will continue in the future. Also he figures that the retailers should charge their business models to meet all the modern tendencies. To support the success of his theory, he provides an example of progress which can be observed in sale of the books, music, DVDs and electricals online.

The security matters are also not the last point in the question of online shopping.
