SWIFT Services for customers of Grupo Acotel

New SWIFT-ready services will be introduced by Grupo Acotel so as to allow corporate and bank customers in Spain better manage financial communications via the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) platform.

The Acotel solution leverages the Sun Microsystems Open Suite for SWIFT. It is a cost-effective, fully managed service enabling customers to process payments and facilitate SWIFT communications including account statements, payments, transfers and debit services without the need to set up, integrate and support complex infrastructure.

For using SWIFT services based on the Sun solution customers pay a fixed monthly fee to Acotel. With the initiative they will be able to order payments through a secure portal without having to integrate numerous payment systems. It eliminates the need in connecting to numerous online banking proprietary services or wait on month-end reports. Customers can view daily up-to-date reporting with all branch account information and payment details are immediately accessible.
