Sweden retailers will acept German e-currency

[img_assist|nid=7822|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=79|height=100]Swedish online payment services provider DIBS Payment Services AB along with German payment service company Pago eTransaction Services GmbHm signed a partnership agreement, that enables with potentiality the first one to offer its customers the German GiroPay payment method.

Eric Wallin, managing director of DIBS Payment Services clarified that it was on the target of DIBS Payment Services to enable e-commerce stores to accept payments using OELV, Germany's biggest payment method, since 2002. Moreover the partnership with Pago was also in line with their strategy, which was expected to involve growth towards northern Europe with Swedish existing customers.

The plans have been successfully realized and e-commerce stores can now easily accept any payment from German e-commerce consumers.

DIBS Payment Services, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is the leading independent online payment services provider in the Nordic region. The staff of the company makes up 56 employees, operating in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Its net turnover amounts to SEK80.9m in 2007, that is GBP6.91m.
