First Bank An innovative contactless payment product was recently introduced by First Data Corporation. The company developed and released a contactless payment Go-Tag sticker that replicates all standard features of a plastic card. Nearly 1”x1.5” size the stick functions as a reloadable prepaid card and can turn almost anything into a payment device.

Before the official launch the company conducted a pilot test with about 2,000 employees and many attached the device to their ID cards or their mobile phones. Actually the tag can be stuck on any personal item, something that a person always has at hand.

At present time Go-Tag is available only as a prepaid device but it could be upgraded to handle standard credit and debit card accounts in the future.

The tags can be reloaded at the point of sale via credit or debit cards and cash. Besides, users can set up recurring reloads online charged to a credit or debit account. At the moment First Data is working on a system to reload them with automated clearing house transactions.
