This credit card program is being implemented by AT&T Inc., one of the world's largest telecommunications companies and Citi, the credit card brand of New York financial services holding company Citigroup Inc.

Small businesses owners using the AT&T Universal Business Rewards Card will get points on their purchases and in addition the card program makes provision for a prescription drug benefits program and 24 hour personal business assistant.

Yearly 100,000 points can be achieved by cardholders and these points are to be used toward eligible AT&T products and services as well as participating office-supply retailers, gas stations and professional service providers such as accounting and legal firms.

"Citi is pleased to deliver with AT&T the customer rewards, benefits and budgeting support that we know small businesses have long desired in a single card," says Brian Lifsec, executive vice president of Citi Cards.
