MastercardTesco Personal Finance issued a new card that helps customers budget their holiday spending and reduces risk of fraud.

Customers top up their Tesco Travel Money Card with foreign currency before travel and do not link it to any personal bank account.

The card is secured through chip and pin technology and comes with a free second "emergency" card which means that in case the original card is stolen, the second can be activated for instant access to funds.

Tesco Travel Money Card differs from similar products of other companies in that it does not charge fees for card issue, loading, commission, foreign purchase or even a monthly administration fee.

Customers can use Tesco Travel Money Card abroad at more than 24 million locations - anywhere there is a MasterCard acceptance logo.
