The division of Scotiabank Global Transaction Banking (GTB) has announced the launch of ScotiaGlobal electronic banking, which enables the clients worldwide to access their accounts whenever they want. Also the bank has launched the integrated payments service via ScotiaConnect electronic banking. Having signed up to ScotiaGlobal electronic banking the customers will be able to access ScotiaConnect electronic banking as well, reports the company.

"Customers are demanding truly integrated global cash management solutions and ScotiaGlobal brings them that through a single platform. ScotiaGlobal offers GTB clients a platform that is easy to access and convenient so they can manage their business banking across the NAFTA region from one centralized location," said Alice Eastman, Senior Vice-President Cash Management and Payment Services for Scotiabank.

"We understand that our clients work in complex organizations with multiple points of payment, and the ability to have approvals for multiple transaction types in an integrated platform will create a more efficient payables function. The Integrated Payments system will also serve as a solution for our clients who currently don't have approval mechanisms in their own systems or who have a high volume of transactions," she added.
