The recent changes in the fees and feedback system established for eBay participants resulted in a seller boycott, which in its turn has caused 13% drop in total site auctions. According to the reports of USA today since last Monday, the time when this boycott has begun the listings have gone down to thirteen million.

This changes are favorable for eBay, do not make a great difference for buyers and completely unremunerative for the sellers. Most sellers work diligently to list and market their products so some sort of sale is completed; by increasing the completion fee eBay makes their a good business for itself but totally ruins the business of the sellers as completion fees become significantly higher. The fact that now sellers can not leave their feedback to the buyers only added oil to the fire.

Some sellers say that if this boycott will have no effect they will start initiating changes of their own. So, some sellers refuse to allow bids from users who don't have a certain level of feedback or have a certain number of completed transactions.
