Remittance comes to your door

Money Gram A home delivery service for international money transfers started this week under the cooperation of the US-headquartered global payment services company MoneyGram International and Dong A Bank (DAB).
With the new service customers receiving their remittances are able to apply to MoneyGram for delivering money transfers right to their home or business address.

The new option was offered by MoneyGram to overseas Vietnamese around the world.

"Our research showed us that there is a real need for home delivery in Vietnam," said Nick Cunnew, MoneyGram's senior regional director for Asia Pacific and South Asia.

"Travelling to an agent location to pick up a money transfer sent from family members overseas sometimes is not always easy for many Vietnamese,” he adds. "We now offer a choice to our receivers to conveniently have their funds delivered directly to their home and or offices. This is very valuable to our customers, especially the elderly."

When the remittance comes a customer in Vietnam to use the home delivery service need call DAB for the service. In case a receiver lives in the central district money will be delivered within 12 hours. If the address is in rural areas the remittance will be brought to the door within 24-36 hours. Receivers will not be charged any additional fees for the service.
