Port charges in Dubai to be paid online

Dubai Trade, DP World A new online payments service was recently introduced by Dubai Trade, Dubai World's trade facilitation department and provider of online trade eServices. The additional DP World eServices that deploys the Rosoom platform will enable online payments for port charges.

Rosoom was launched in May 2008 and already proved to be a huge success with the trading community with over 14,000 successful payment transactions to date amounting to over Dhs11.7m.

With the new service from DP World the trading community will be able to easily make online payment of port charges for Less than Container Load (LCL) cargo un-stuffed at the Jebel Ali Port Container Freight Station (CFS) and private CFS locations.

Besides, using the system traders will be enabled to make payments of Document Processing Charges (DPC) for containerized and non-containerized export cargo in accordance with Customs bills generated through the new declaration platform, Mirsal II.

Furthermore, customers of DP World will be able to open a deposit account that can be topped up through the Rosoom platform and used for DP World online fees.
