[img_assist|nid=10605|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=67]The recent investigation conducted by Puls Biznesu has revealed a 60% growth of Polish e-commerce market. Comparing the figures of 2006 and 2007 the researchers found that 42% of the Internet users made purchases online, 21% were active participants of the online auctions. . The total volume of the online transactions reached PLN 8bn.

The main reason for such a rapid raise is the growing popularity of the Internet.

However despite the growth interest to the e-commerce this industry is still weak in Poland. So, according to the statistics only 10% of the online shoppers are represented by the companies, the others are just the individual. Mostly such companies are interested in IT technologies and computer equipment.
