PCI-DSS compliance for rackAid merchants

In a quest for assisting online merchants to meet the payment card industry data security standard PCI-DSS rackAid, a provider of managed web site performance and security services partnered with security technology vendor ControlScan.

The initiative allows merchants dealing with rackAID to access ControlScan’s full-service PCI-DSS application, which includes a self-assessment tool, on-demand security scanning and access to ControScan’s merchant portal. Besides, they will be provided with security certification seals, which means an increased consumer confidence in making online payments and lowered shopping cart abandonment rates.
