Payvision, one of the leading international payment solutions providers for the card-not-present marketplace, announced it has received Windows Vista certification for its Virtual POS application from Microsoft.

The Payvision Virtual POS provides all the necessary features required for processing credit and debit card transactions quickly and easily in situations where cards are not present. Payvision’s Virtual POS is based on a multi-tiered architecture that ensures future functionality and requirements. The only requirement for using Virtual POS is a PC with an Internet connection and a Microsoft Windows version that supports .NET Framework 2.0.

“This certification is recognition of Payvision’s commitment to provide products that have seamless integration with Windows Vista, giving customers the confidence that they will receive a superior end-user experience,” says Rudolf Booker, CEO of Payvision. “We have successfully passed high standards of quality, reliability, security and compatibility, and are delighted to become a member of the Microsoft partner ecosystem.”

Payvision offers card-not-present processing services via its secure, PCI-compliant platform for all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, Diner’s Club, Carte Blanche, JCB and Carte Bleue.

“Microsoft is pleased that Payvision has earned the Certified for Windows Vista software logo for their Virtual POS application,” said Brad Goldberg, General Manager for Windows Vista Product Management at Microsoft Corp. “This highlights Payvision’s commitment to providing its customers with higher quality applications that deliver a more secure, reliable and compatible experience with Windows Vista.”
