PayPal adds recurring-payments

Paypal, Payments Pro, Express CheckoutPayPal is introducing some changes. According to Rahul Bhargava, senior director of merchant solutions at PayPal, the company has added recurring-payments functionality for the company Website:  products, which will enable the merchants to bill their customers for products or services automatically.

“If you sell online magazines, newsletters, digital goods, or any other product or service that requires payment from your customers on a regular basis, this functionality will be useful to you. It allows you to charge your customers a pre-defined amount on a pre-defined schedule,” – commented the official.

The new functionality can be integrated by means of a set of simple APIs (application programming interfaces).

“We are also working to make the functionality available in leading shopping carts which will make the integration even simpler,” added Bhargava.

Earlier it became that the ecommerce site Overstock.com and entertainment provider Blockbuster are also started offering PayPal as a payment option.
