Customers of Central Pacific Bank are now able to open accounts with the bank without the necessity of visiting the bank's 39 branches instead they can do it online.

Customers are offered three account types: Interest Checking, Personal Savings and Totally Free Checking. When opening an account a customer undergoes the procedure of answering special questions at the end of which the information relevant to this particular customer should be verified.

Opening a checking account a customer prints a signature card and sends it to the bank. With checking account a customer may use such services as free starter checks, debit cards and online banking services.

With saving account where only "e-signature" is required a customer is provided with free ATM cards.

The bank's senior vice president of alternative delivery channels Wayne Kirihara says: "Central Pacific Bank's new service makes it possible for a customer to never enter a branch unless they choose to for expanded financial services or advice."
