Online banking and SMS banking offered by MPCB

[img_assist|nid=10879|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=78]Mauritius’ Posts and Cooperative Bank (MPCB) has announced the new options available. Now every person no matter natural or legal may take of the Internet and SMS banking opportunities. With the introduction of the new options now the users may carry out all the necessary transactions without any necessity to run to bank. The only thing they need is just the access to Internet.  

According to Sayyad Khodabocus, head of the IT department, the whole operation will take only a few seconds. The clients of MPCB now will be enabled to transfer funds from one account to another, to pay the bills and even to ask for a new cheque-book or to block the payment of the cheques.


All the operations are protected by a two-factor authentication or it’s better to say by login and password. The password will be changed each 2 months to secure the operations.
