New pesident for GTO Mastercard

[img_assist|nid=7673|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=62]MasterCard has appointed Rob Reeg as a new president for global technology and operations (GTO), after the ex-president W Roy Dunbar had retired from the card firm earlier this year.

Reeg, who has 13 years experience in the job with MasterCard, obtained the place of chief technology officer (CTO) in 2005 and was responsible for computer operations, network engineering, technology architecture, database management, program management, information security and software testing and quality. He also led the company's core processing systems re-engineering project.

Till the way of Reeg's career crossed with MasterCard, he held IT and management positions at Sprint, Cleveland Pneumatic, Totco and Conoco.

At present, located near St Louis, MasterCard GTO controls (monitors) operations conducted in 210 countries and territories. Brussels, Sydney and Chennai are also on a list  as major processing centers.
