CHARGE Anywhere, a leading provider of secure Point of Sale (POS) solutions and electronic payment services now accepts PIN Debit payments on the Spectra Point of Sale Terminal.

The addition of the PIN Debit capability will allow merchants to save money by preventing them from having to buy additional costly hardware and reduce the cost merchants pay per transaction. Having the increased fraud protection, PIN Debit is a smart decision for small and medium sized merchants. Purchases made via PIN Debit are less fraudulent which reduces the risk of chargebacks.

While PIN Debit adoption enhances the functionality of CHARGE Anywhere’s Point of Sale solution over the air downloading upgrades the feature set of Spectra as well. Now Spectra Terminal becomes most secure and flexible point of sale terminals on the market.

With the PIN Debit capabilities the Spectra accepts PIN Debit transactions on the ComsGate Payment Gateway. The Spectra POS terminal is a PCI PED compliant device and meets all security standards set forth by the PCI Security Standards Council. In addition, the CHARGE Anywhere Point of Sale software meets PA DSS compliance standards and the ComsGate Payment Gateway is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant.
