The platform is based on the customised software developed by the Czech software provider Arbes.
Now customers of the bank will be able to carry on a remote base different kind of transactions like transfers to and from the accounts in Georgia and internationally, as well as currency conversions, online payments, blocking and unblocking of the cards, setting up orders and direct debits and other transactions.

Besides the new platform users will have an opportunity to apply for a loan, debit or credit card and even open a deposit account through any of the communications channels mentioned above. As for the security part, the system uses onetime codes generated by Digipass security pass devices or codes requested via an SMS service, along with the static authentication details such as a username and password.

The domain of the bank under the name ibank.ge is signed and secured with SSL certificate, issued by Thwate Premium Server.

Users of mobile banking services will be provided four application options among which are PDA, WAP, Java and SMS banking.
