[img_assist|nid=8390|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=66|height=100] Self-service ‘payment & top –up’ kiosks are planned to be introduced by Qatari telecommunications service provider across the whole country. By the end of the current year the number of such cabins will make up 70 stands. And 150 such consoles are expected to be installed in the country by 2009.

These stalls are intended for Qtel consumers which can view and pay bills as well as top-up their pre-paid accounts. The instructions for the procedure given by the machines are composed both in English and Arabic.

As of today there are already 30 automated Payment&Top-up machines operated by Qtel. If a customer is to view or pay active-line bills, he/she should enter his/her telephone number and Qatar identity number. After having accessed account details, the consumer may settle his/her bills and top-up his/her account.
