CHARGE Anywhere, a leading provider of secure Point of Sale (POS) solutions and electronic payment services introduced its industry leading mobile payment and POS software solution on Java 2 Micro Edition phones. The new release is another one in the chain of platforms launched by CHARGE Anywhere. Apart from Windows Mobile and BlackBerry OS based devices its PA DSS application will now be available to more users across a variety of device types.

The application known as CHARGE Anywhere v2.0.0 is compatible with most J2ME mobile phones. The package can be installed to all the phones meeting the Java Virtual Machine requirements and supporting cldc1.1 and midp2.0.

CHARGE Anywhere's secure mobile payment software on mobile phones allows merchants to avoid purchasing costly equipment in order to process credit card payments anywhere, anytime. Via existing mobile phones, merchants can start processing transactions in just a few minutes with a simple download directly from the phone.
