Moneybookers: more successful than ever before

2007 became the record year for Moneybookers which is considered Europe's largest Online Payment System offering domestic payment options in more than 35 countries in the world and customer service in 12 languages. Today almost 4 million customers have Online account at Moneybookers and the number of such customers grows up every day.

According to Chairman Dr. Thomas Middlehoff those outstanding results especially this year were achieved by new ecommerce merchant integrations. Revenues and profits were doubled. The transaction volume through Moneybookers reached EUR 1.5 billion in 2007 and continues to grow every single month. More over, during this year Moneybookers launched a brand-new website globally. It was marked by Investcorp Technology Partners who undertook Moneybookers buyout for EUR 105 million. Also this online payment system launched innovations such as "Split Gateway" (individual payment option as a one-stop solution) and "Fast Registration" (lightning-fast registration" for all payment options directly at merchants' checkout) which also helped Moneybookers to be on the top.
