MoneyBookers: 2007- the most successful year in the history

MoneyBookers, recognized as one of the biggest online payment system of the cyberspace, that shows the most rapid growing customers' base has announced 2007 as the most successful year in the history of company. CEO of MoneyBookers - Dr. Nikolai Reisenkampff announced the company was able to reach EUR 1.5 billion with the incredible increase of monthly critical mass. 4 million active users and 4,000 new account holders of electronic wallet as the obvious signs of success are mainly explained by integration of a new e-commerce merchant platform.

Let us remind you that earlier in the year, march 2007, the company launched a new image of the website, expanded globally that matched with the buyout of the company by Investcorp Technology Partners for EUR105 million. Later, in May 2007, company welcomed Dr. Middelhoff, one of the most recognized European business leasers, as Chairman of  the Board. MoneyBookers reflected the occurred demand of merchants looking for new features from sites as MoneyBookers. Company integrated new features "Split Gateway" (individual payment option as a one-stop solution), or let's say "Fast registration" process that allows to skip annoying multiple-step registration for all payment options directly at merchant's checkout.   

As it was declared by company officials they have even more ambitions plans for the upcoming year. "We will surprise the market with innovative payment solutions and provide online buyers ith an easier and more secure shopping experience than ever before".
