Money remittance service introduced by Jharkhand postal department

In India last week Jharkhand's postal department introduced a new e-money order services.

The service is planned to be extended to cover 133 post offices in the state in one week as reported by Anil Kumar, Jharkhand Postal Department Director.

He notes that from now on recipients will be able to access their money within one hour at no additional charges.

The new system allows the funds sent by a customer to be transferred to the post office nearest to the recipient. Then the postman will deliver the money.
