[img_assist|nid=8333|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=88]Easy utility payment service is being launched in the UAE by NBD which plans to extend its SMS mobile banking services across the UAE. Using mobile phones customers will be able to pay various bills issued by governmental and nongovernmental companies such as Etisalat, Salik, RTA, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC), Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC) and Empower.

Previously Emirates Bank SMS mobile making service provided its consumers with a convenient and personalised way to keep track of their banking. Now with the newly expanded service users will be able to pay various utility bills via their handsets.

In addition customers may use alert service that allows them to receive SMS alerts advising them about activities on their accounts and credit cards made through any channel. SMS will be sent both in English and Arabic. Requesting account and credit card information, exchange rates, or mini-statements may also be realized via SMS messages exchanged with the bank.
