MasterCard PayPass available at Rite Aid stores

MasterCard PayPassRite Aid Corporation can now accept MasterCard PayPass contactless payments as reported by MasterCard Worldwide. 3,800 of the nearly 5,000 Rite Aid stores across the US will be equipped to accept MasterCard PayPass.

By tapping their PayPass-enabled MasterCard card or device on a PayPass reader at the check-out counter Rite Aid customers can quickly make their purchases. With MasterCard PayPass there is no need for customers to sign receipts for purchases under $25 which means a faster transaction process.

At present there is a number retail stores accepting MasterCard PayPass including quick-service restaurants, sports stadiums and arenas, movie theaters, supermarkets, vending machines, and taxis.
