Mastercard in Bulgaria

[img_assist|nid=7742|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=67]A new credit card product, iCARD has been recently rolled out by a local non-banking financial enterprise Intercard Finance AD in Sofia, announced English version of Dnevnik Daily edition.

Operating under the license granted by MasterCard Worldwide, the Intercard Finance AD applied the logo of the international credit and debit card company to its five products. In the first phase the first three types of credit cards: classic, gold and platinum will be introduced into practice.

Annual rates on each program amount to 16%, 14% and 12%. The features that specifies the mechanism of iCARD enable cardholder to send e-mail notifying about the number of repayment installments and the repayment period concerning the purchase on the card up to one hour at the latest. By estimates of executive director Hristo Georgiev, the capital of Intercard Finance that is presently totals to 5 mln levs is expected to amount to 10 mln levs soon.
