Mastercard: An appointment as a step to build a high-performance organization

MastercardA new chief human resources officer was appointed at MasterCard Worldwide. The seat is to be taken by Stephanie Voquer who previously served as a group head of human resources for MasterCard Europe, based in Brussels.

Stephanie Voquer, who is a native of Canada, finished McMaster University with an Honors degree of a Bachelor of Arts. In addition, she studied at the University of Caen in France, the University of Valencia in Spain, the International Business Management Institute in affiliation with American Graduate School of International Management, and the IBM International Personnel Institute, in collaboration with Georgetown University.

For MasterCard the human resources department is an important factor in driving the company's culture and building its leadership edifice. Thereby an excellent experiment in high-caliber talent acquisition, deployment practices, innovative reward-for-performance programs, competency-based learning and performance management is essential here.
