Malaysian payment system is going o provide round-the-clock services

[img_assist|nid=7036|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=67]Now Malaysian Electronic Payment System has a 24 hour access to seven of its banks as report the officials of the company.

Among the banks ready to operate in the round-the-clock mode there are Affin Bank, Alliance Bank, AmBank, Bank Rakyat, CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank and RHB Bank.

Agro Bank (formerly known as Bank Pertanian), Bank Islam, Bank Muamalat, Bank Simpanan Nasional, EON Bank, Maybank and Public Bank are only preparing for such a schedule.

Probably these residual banks will shift to 24 hour operation by the end of 2008, "Till then, customers of these banks are able to use the interbank ATM services from 4am to 12 midnight daily," state MEPS representatives.
