Macedonia introduces the SMS billing to pay the administrative taxes

[img_assist|nid=10136|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=66]Macedonia has announced the coming launch of a new mobile payment system aimed at paying of administrative tax for issuance of passport, personal ID card or driver's license. Owing to this system the Macedonians will be enabled to pay simply, quickly and troublefree by their cell phones via call center or by entering the governmental site www.uslugi.gov.mk.

It was said that the expected higher tax will be 250 denars. The activity of this payment system will be regulated by the Finance Ministry. The administration is sure that the introduction of this system will allow them to get closer to the people.  

The system is going to be launched on November 1, 2008. It was said that the Interior Ministry is going to be the first one to implement the new system.
