One of the biggest European banks Lloyds TSB has announced the launch of its new service Lloyds TSB Mobile Services and opened a new page in the history of the British e-banking. The new service enables the customers to carry out all the transactions with their money through their mobile phones and to receive the short messages informing about everything related to their finances. In addition the customers will have an opportunity to view their balances, see the history of transactions and do everything quickly and securely.

The alert system is designed specifically to keep the customers quite about their finances. Now every transaction conducted with the customers account will be followed with the SMS message that gives the account holder a full control over his or her account.

"Gone are the days when we used our phones only to call friends and family. Mobile phones are now part of our daily lives in a way few would have imagined just a few years ago. Just as Internet banking has taken the country by storm over the past decade, mobile banking is now set to change the way we mange our money," commented Catherine McGrath, Director of Current Accounts for Lloyds TSB. “Many customers are already used to the idea of keeping tabs on their bank account using a mobile phone, but we're launching the next generation of mobile banking that allows people to stay in real control of their money wherever they are" she added.
