HOT Liberty Reserve API hacked. More than 1M+ was stolen.

Bug was fixed only after 3 months.

Three days ago, Michelle from Liberty Reserve had posted a reminder on Liberty Reserve Official Blog that they will no longer accepting any accounts that involved in online fraud, scam, hacking, phishing, and anything that against the law.

As what e-gold has been practicing all these while, liberty reserve will take the same necessarily actions towards all the unlawful practice and abuse usage of the accounts by suspending them or place a limitation unto it.

So, the issue now are how would be the future of the hyip world when liberty reserve implements the same action as e-gold? Would it be safe for hyip admins/owners to use liberty reserve as a payment processor without any worry that their accounts may anytime be suspended or limited? And is it safe for hyip players to join and deposit money in hyip which using liberty reserve as a payment processor option?

Would it be the next scam excuse being exploited by the scammer to avoid from paying and run away? Well, time will tell. Here is the reminder as on the blog:

Reminder

We would like to take this opportunity and to make clear, mainly, under what conditions your accounts may be temporarily suspended:

1. If Liberty Reserve receives a valid court order.

2. If Liberty Reserve receives subpoena from a law enforcement agency.

Additional reasons why your account may be restricted or limited temporarily:

3. Direct evidence of system abuse or endangering safety of clients funds, such as hacking attempts, phishing web sites, etc.

4. Referral fraud.

Please note that our primary concern is safety of our customers money and we will do whatever is necessary to insure and enforce this policy.”
