Indian e-commerce First e-commerce site supporting Hindi was launched in India. Now customers in the tier II and tier III cities can use Hindi version of Ezeego1.com, the country’s first meta search travel site to book flight tickets on domestic circuits.

According to Neelu Singh, the chief operating officer of Ezeego1.com there is a huge market in North India where people, though knowing both English and Hindi, prefer transacting their business in the latter. “The site has been designed specially for them,” said Singh.

Hindi today is the second most preferred language in India. Thereby e-commerce industry in the country should be arranged taking into account these trends. E-commerce services provided in Hindi will inspire much confidence in customers. “There are a very few multilingual and bi-lingual sites today. However, most of these sites offer content, but do not allow transaction,” stated Singh.

Hindi speaking customers booking on Ezeego1.com will enjoy the whole process up to the payment procedure in their native language.
