[img_assist|nid=9820|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=53]A new functional option was added by c to its SmartVista Suite. This feature leveraging the SmartVista-eMoney Gateway enables financial institutions and processors which use SmartVista for their cards and payment transactions processing to connect the card accounts of their customers with e-money systems.

Now with the new option customers can load funds to their card accounts via funds transfer from their ewallets as well as to top-up their ewallets with the cards. Security is provided at the expense of a virtual card number linked to both the card account and the e-purse. The number is used for the further identification of the customer which means that the card information is unlikely to be exposed to fraudsters.

Today there is a large number of e-money systems offering their services, WebMoney, PayPal, e-port, Moneybookers, e-Bullion and Pecunix are some of them. These processors can offer easy and safe purchase of services and goods from various online supermarkets, cheap P2P money transfers and wage payments to tele-workers. With the new SmartVista-eMoney Gateway card holders can to top-up their electronic purses and transfer their funds from the e-purses to the cards at any time of the day. Immediate transactions available with the service help banks to attract new clients from amongst the current e-money users.
