Hewlett-Packard assisting to improve banking services

[img_assist|nid=8379|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=50]In order to improve payment processing a new SOA is being implemented in Poland under the collaboration of Lukas Bank, one of Poland's fastest growing retail banks, and Hewlett-Packard.
As per statements of the two companies Lukas Bank, which has more than 300 branches across the country, is partnering with HP to create an entirely new core banking system platform for SOA. In view of the intensive growth of the bank a new efficient core banking solution is needed to provide a long life of the business and decrease time for marketing the new financial product.

Among other improvements planned by Lukas Bank there is an objective to enhance the system reliability and flexibility and shorten IT development times.

Aiming to assist in speeding up payment processing times, creating shorter IT development times and improving system reliability and flexibility, HP is using its Sanchez Profile software to design and implement the SOA to allow Lukas Bank to achieve its goals.

Among numerous features to be added to the conjoint solution there are systems developed and designed by HP to provide internet banking, card clearing and settlement, online authorization and SMS modules.
