[img_assist|nid=8609|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=46]Zoovy, provider of e-commerce software, which serves small merchants and large wholesaler/retailers, has selected Google Checkout to boost the Web site traffic and sales for its customers. Such decision was taken in view of the fact that millions of online shoppers use particularly Google to search for the products. The representatives of the company think that the icon of the prominent processor will signify the legitimacy of the merchant and will enable the approved merchants to highlight their Adwords ad and Product Search listings.

"The new Checkout badge that appears on our AdWords advertisements has given us a 23 percent lift in click-through rate. And the customers that use Google Checkout convert 24 percent more frequently than those that go through a standard checkout process," says Fred Lerner of Ritz Interactive.

"Google Checkout is an incredibly powerful service," added Jordan Kohler from the Business Development team at Zoovy, Inc. "And our new partnership with Google enables us to provide a seamless back-end integration of their services with our e-commerce software. This is another tool to help our merchants succeed in the extremely competitive industry of selling online."

Google Checkout helps the merchants to overcome the difficulties by simplifying the checkout process. Owing to the Google Checkout technologies the customers may just provide their account username and password to make a purchase that significantly reduces the abandoning of the carts by the shoppers.
