Google Yesterday one of the most important Internet companies Google Inc., known as the largest web Search Engine, has celebrated its 10th anniversary. During those 10 years company leaded by two friends Larry Page and Sergey Brin has achieved the significant results and got a world name and recognition. So, for example, according to the top 100 of Fortune, Google Inc. is the best company to work for. The company gains this title for the second time in a row.

However, it is still unknown the exact age of the company. Though officially the birthday of the company is September 7, the actual system launch took place 2 years earlier in August though the name of the company was not Google but Googol. Andy Bechtolsheim, one of the founders of Sun Microsystems, while investing in the new company has made a mistake and wrote out a check for Google Inc., a company that didn’t exist. After that event the founders renamed their company and the corporation has got its official birthday.

Though one can argue that it was neither 10th anniversary nor the 12th one since the domain of google.com was registered in September 15, 1997. All this situation reminds the situation that takes place in a show business where the super stars try to conceal their real age. However, Google doesn’t need this as people need a reliable time-proved company, and Google meets their requirements.

People may argue and say whatever they want. However, it is Google who decides its age.

And there only remains for us to congratulate Google Inc. With its anniversary and to wish it further success and prosperity. Happy Birthday, Google!
