Global Payments eats its Q2 results

Global Payments A well-known company, Global Payments, processing services for credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, business purchasing cards, EBT, checks and money transfers, has announced its revenues for the second quarter of 2008, when the revenue was “only” $280.1 million. The diluted earnings per share have also changed in comparison to the previous year and showed the increase by 21%. In money it looks like this: $0.52 against $0.43.

The net income has grown up to $162.8 million that is much higher than it was last year when the net income was $143 million.

Among other figures the reporters marked the annual revenue increased by 20% corresponding $1.27 billion. Merchant services have also brought a profit and showed $1.13 billion that is significantly lower than $929.1 million earned in 2007.
