“Our idea is to provide education relevant to the dynamically developing technological environment. The project is targeted at business customers and major companies in the IT sector,” said in statement Mr Plamen Russev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of e-Academy.

The educational program is said to cover the topics ranging from e-marketing, to e-business consulting, e-commerce, programming, web design, creating digital content and e-PR. It was announced that the first trainings will be conducted in Bulgaria and then will be expanded across southeastern Europe (SEE).

The official opening of the e-Academy is planned on July 2008 and it is expected that it will start with training courses in e-marketing and e-commerce. The educational course will include the lecture for high-school graduates that look for professional development in the IT sector. The courses will be semester based.

At the moment the founders of e-Academy are looking for the partners among universities and educational centers located in the SEE region, and also with the companies, which want to set up employee scholarship schemes to plan and train their human resources.
