iPhone, iPod Touch and PayPal Mobile - a new formula of success

Users of iPhone and iPod Touch now will be provided with PayPal Mobile application available from the Apple App Store. After downloading the application for free users can send money to friends and family quickly via their PayPal accounts.

"The iPhone is a great platform for PayPal," said Jack Stephenson, Senior Vice President of Strategy and New Ventures. "This new application makes it easy and fun to send money to anyone with just a few screen touches."

The global reach provided by PayPal which has over 60 million active accounts in 190 markets around the world combined with the international popularity of the iPhone enable a safer and easier way to send mobile payments.

Customers send money to anyone in their contact list without necessity of remembering email addresses and phone numbers. Besides, users are enabled to check account balance wherever they go and with "quick pay" option they may avoid excessive preview procedures and send money immediately.

Users may download the PayPal Mobile application from the Apple App Store. The application is available for customers in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Everybody must follow basic cell phone etiquettes. Your mobile should not ring in public and disturb others.
