[img_assist|nid=8868|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=41] Moneybookers, one of Europe's largest online payment systems, has been integrated by ePages as a standard payment option for its shop hosting platform. The extensive client base of ePages, whose software powers more than 40,000 online shops, will now be able to incorporate the Moneybookers payment gateway as part of their hosted shop solution. With this quick and easy integration, ePages' hosted merchants will be able to provide secure credit card and domestic payment options for customers all over the world.

"We identified Moneybookers as a very competitive payment provider, with a great choice of payment options that are easy to integrate," comments Wilfried Beeck, founder and CEO of ePages.

By incorporating the Moneybookers payment system into their online shop, merchants can improve conversion rates by minimising security concerns and providing an unrivalled choice of payment options. Moneybookers enables users to pay via Internet or e-mail worldwide, offering domestic payment options in over 40 countries. In addition, Moneybookers enables merchants to reduce costs by preventing charge backs and paying lower commission rates for transactions. More than 10,000 merchants and over 5 million customers are now using Moneybookers to make payments and money transfers.

"Our product is becoming increasingly popular with both global e-commerce brands as well as smaller online merchants that are looking for more than traditional payment mechanisms," explains Martin Ott, Co-CEO of Moneybookers. "Through this partnership with ePages we now offer our easy to integrate and cost-effective payment system to its entire and rapidly growing community of online shops."

Setting up an online shop based on ePages technology is quick and easy, requiring no design or special computer skills. Ongoing management and administration of the shop can then be handled via a simple web browser.
