A multi-year agreement was signed by Electronic Payment Exchange (EPX), the industry-leading provider of fully integrated, end-to-end payment processing solutions and Flint Telecom, Inc. The objective of the partnership is processing payments of Flint Telecom’s customers which should be handled by EPX.
Flint’s customers are to be serviced by EPX in two ways. Usual credit and debit card payments will be operated by EPX with new BuyerWall platform while Flint's customers who use debit cards in the non-face-to-face payment environment will be serviced by means of EPX's PINless Debit solution.
With BuyerWall that represents the patent-pending cardholder data protection system exclusively offered by EPX merchants can prevent data breach and have a full control of the customer experience. The platform processes, transmits, and stores sensitive cardholder data so as the data never enters the merchant's system, and is never stored by the merchant.
EPX's PINless Debit is considered to be less costly than traditional card interchange fees. Merchants authorized to accept the PINless Debit transactions for payment confess that the overall expense associated with non-face-to-face payment acceptance has reduced substantially.
"We looked at a number of payment processors. EPX was the one that met our current requirements - BuyerWall enables our PCI DSS compliance and also eliminates our concerns about data breach liability. Plus, they offer PINless Debit processing, which is vital to our business as many of our customers pay for their telecom services using their debit cards. Furthermore, we needed detailed reporting to support and help manage our business. EPX's WebSuite gave us customized online reporting that we provide to our resellers as part of the service," said Anthony Thompson, Executive Vice President at Flint Telecom Inc.
