Electronic donation becomes very popular

Many people could drop cash online in the collection baskets at Catholic Churches in Southwest Ohio.  The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati made online giving an option for its 230 parishes and 110 parochial and diocesan schools. Now more and more churches may offer an envelope or card that allows parishioners to say "I gave Online". Some critics worry that it will affect church attendance if people can give without coming to church. But since adding the program last October the attendance has been steady.

More over, it is one more opportunity for those who don't necessarily carry a lot of cash or even have a checkbook but still want to make donation. And they can do it using online technology.

One of the goals of such options was to use technology in stewardship efforts and that led him to infintech LLC, a Sharonville-based company which specializes in electronic payment processing for businesses and nonprofit groups.
