[img_assist|nid=7967|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=97|height=100]In Abu Dhabi the police have installed a number of automated machines in different shopping malls of the city owing to which some electronic services became available. This network has got the name of Sahel [facile] and is known as e-service and payment system.

A new payment system is equipped with up-to-date and secure technical solutions and provides people to make payments in cash or by means of credit cards. Owing to Sahel people can pay fines, fees, and verification of violations.

"The project aims at establishing channels of communications with the police," said a police source.

Police has also provided some information and instructional leaflets that teach people how to use a new system and machines and also about all the possibilities provided by the payment network.
All machines have touch-sensitive screens that make interaction much easier and also the keypads that can be used  for some complains, proposals, which can occur, or simply for writing communication message.

Machines also generate a slip for the transactions, so the users can keep the receipts for records.
